Dionysos

Kantharos (footed bowl with two handles), about 500 B.C.

Dionysos, the greek god of the wine, holds in his right hand a horn of plenty and in his left hand an (ivy-)branch. The silene at the left side brings an amphora, the silene at the right side is greeting with his right arm and brings a skin full of wine.
